HandinHand Counseling Services, LLC was founded by Sharise Hemby-Nance, LSW and Tess Kenney, LPC on November 1, 2013. Sharise and Tess are Pittsburgh natives with a combined 26 years of experience in the Human Services profession. Sharise and Tess met as college students at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and have worked together for various non-profit organizations that provide various mental health and behavioral health services to a diverse population.

At HandinHand Counseling Services, LLC their goal is to promote Hope, Health and Healing to individuals, families, and couples dealing with a range of topics from day to day situational concerns to more pressing mental health issues. They have established relationships with other private practice providers, mental health clinics, and community agencies throughout Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. In just under 2 years; they have been featured in the Soul Pitt Magazine, The New Pittsburgh Courier featured on radio interviews, and invited as guest speakers at various events in the Pittsburgh area. Their target population includes African Americans, young women, young professionals, families and those diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder.

HandinHand Counseling Services, LLC provides a variety of services, including: Individual Psychotherapy, Family Counseling, Group Therapy, Child & Adolescent Therapy, Couples Counseling, Parent Counseling, Life Coaching and Consultations.
