Project Prom for Gentlemen

Project Prom for Gentlemen is an interactive program for eligible high school students to be mentored for one evening on the principles of respectful conduct that will benefit them not only at the prom, but for a lifetime. Attendees will take part in a catered dinner featuring mentors, a formal etiquette refresher, and local speakers of note. Attendees also learn how to tie various tie knots and receive a voucher for a free tuxedo rental to attend their prom in style.

Pre-registration is required. To register, please click this link, for the Project Prom for Gentlemen registration form. Registrations forms will be accepted through Thursday, April 13, pending space is available to participate. Register Soon
Students are eligible to attend the evening and receive a voucher for a free tuxedo rental if they:
- receive services through child welfare (for example, receive CYF in-home services or live in a foster home or a group home)
- live in a homeless shelter or transitional or bridge housing program
- receive mental health services
- receive service related to intellectual disability
- receive substance use disorder (drug and alcohol) treatment
We are collecting new or gently used Neckties and New Black Dress Socks until March 24! You can return your donation to the designated box in the HSB lobby next to the security desk.
Each year we welcome the generosity of students, county residents and retailers to provide formal attire and accessories, including new or gently used ties and bow ties, cuff links and pocket squares, and new black socks.
