PPS Parent Update Letter
Monday, October 12, 2020
Dear PPS Parents,
As we prepare to transition students from full-time E-Learning to our new in-school AA/BB hybrid model on Monday, November 9, school leaders and teachers have been working with families to verify if they want their child(ren) to continue with full-time E-Learning or move to the in-school hybrid AA/BB model. The student cohort assignments will be completed on Wednesday, October 14. Each family will receive notification of their student’s cohort assignment from their child’s school during the week of October 19, 2020, no later than October 23. Transportation letters will be mailed from Pupil Transportation at the end of October.
Families that have not responded with their preference for instruction will automatically be placed in the hybrid AA/BB model. Families that choose to keep their child enrolled in full-time E-Learning will be placed in Cohort C. If you have questions, please contact your child’s school directly. To enroll your child in full-time E-Learning, complete the online enrollment process at www.pghschools.org/elearningenrollment.
