“Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God. Where you die, I will die, and there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, If anything but death parts you and me.” RUTH 1:16-17
To fully envision the entire journey that Ruth endured as she consistently displayed her faithfulness to her mother-in-law Naomi, please read the book of Ruth. The above scripture is only a tiny portion of the book, but it’s magnitude in significance is phenomenal. In this scripture, Ruth had expressed to Naomi her unconditional love for her. Ruth’s journey was one that embraced and cherished a value system of family, friendship, and faithfulness, and her moral system was based on love, humility, and respect. These are the same values and morals that we have built our entire agency on.
